They realized that most of the other forex houses aren’t able to keep up with the pace. The real turning point for the GFT forex trading house was when they built their own proprietary forex trading platform.
During this time, they developed relationships with other experienced forex professionals. GFT was very proactive in hiring a lot of experts to create software development in their platforms. They created one of the best platforms around called, DealBook FX, which was one of the big steps in forex trading when it first came out in 2001. It won a lot of awards, which helped garner GFT as world-leader in forex trading.
